Moc Chau district, Van Ho municipality, Hua Tat village. On degraded limestone mountain, rocky outcrops from ca. 1200-1350 m surrounded by cultivated fields, mostly logged for valuable timber; on limestone.

Rare, lithophyte in deep shade; just below top; 1300 m alt; bracts on peduncle and peduncle red-purple;
pedicel deep red-purple; buds lighter but similar shade; tepals light green with red-purple; labellum streaked
red-purple; rostellum light green-cream; young fruit green.
