Cleisostoma discolor Lindl.
Vietnam, Tay Ninh Prov., Tan Bien Distr., Tan Binh Municipality, Ta Not FP Station, around point 11°37’43”N 105°52’26”E. Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest with the dominance of species of Dipterocarpaceae (Dipterocarpus dyeri, D. costatus, D. alatus, D. obtusifolius, Shorea sp.) mixed with Lagerstroemia calyculata, Irvingia malayana, Anogeissus acuminata, Sindora siamensis, Pterospermum sp., on thin soils at elevation about 13 m a.s.l. Epiphyte in canopies of tall old trees. Not common.

Flowered under cultivation in August – September 2009. Flowers odorless, tepals white to light yellowish with fine pink tint, petals outside with wide purple stripe, lip side lobes yellow to orange-brown, median lobe white with purple tint, Column white, operculum white, dorsally along margin purple, pollinia yellow.
