Quang Binh Prov., Tuyen Hoa Distr., Lam Hoa municipality, Hung village, around point 17°55’41”N 105°49’43”E. Secondary shrubs along small river on flat alluvial valley between remnant limestone hills composed with highly eroded marble-like crystalline limestone at elev. About 100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial tuberiferous herb on short tall secondary grassland. Spathe dark velvety purple-brown. Locally very common.
