Platanthera alba Aver., sp. nov.

(aff. P. saprophytica J.J. Sm., 1927, Mitt. Inst. Allg. Bot. Hamburg 7: 12)

Thanh Hoa Prov., Thuong Xuan Distr., Bat Mot Municipality, Ban Vin village, Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, shale mountains, around point 19°58’40’’N 104°59’00’’E, 980–1100 m. Clustered in primary closed evergreen seasonal tropical broad-leaved submontane forests on ridges and slopes of shale mountains. Saprophyte. Flowers ivory white.
