Northern Vietnam, Son La Province, Ta Xua Nature Reserve. Degraded primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forests on land mountains of Ta Xua Nature Reserve, along watershed at elevations of 1245 m a.s.l., around point 21º20’40.0’’N, 104º35’28.4’’E. Terrestrial herb to 60 cm long, usually in humid shade along watershed, flowers yellow, not common.
