Primary fractionaly logged coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis along highly eroded rocky limestone ridge at elevation 1150-1250 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb with thick short rhizome to 3 cm in diam. and leaves to 1.2 m long on rocky shady very steep slope at middle part of mountain at elevation about 1100 m a.s.
