Ha Giang Province, Quan Ba District, forest in Thai An Commune.

Notes: Leaves apex with 3 hairs (mid hairs slender and longer, 2 side hairs more or less curved down), purple blotch on surface and purple leaves margin. Sepals with mid prominent keel and warty dots on outside surface (adaxial), labellum with rectangular epichile, middle of epichile with green callus and dark red dots only on callus, sparely hairs on callus, more dense around the entrance of saccate hypochile; base of hypochile with low lamellate (septum?). The species relates to Gastrochilus hoi and G. matsudae but different in hairs on epchile.
