N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Thach An, municipality Trong Con,
(N 22°21′ E 106°27′), about 39 km to SSE from Cao Bang town. Open
secondary forest on shale alluvial foothills at about 300 m alt.
Terrestrial caudex plant with leaves up to 3 m lg. Rare.
