Monotropastrum humile (D. Don) Hara

Northern Vietnam, Lao Cai Prov., Van Ban Distr., to the west of Nam
Xay village (1 km to the W of point 21°59′00′'N, 104°02′00′'E).
Primary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest with Dacrycarpus
imbricatus on granite and quartzite steep slopes at elev. about 1300 m
a.s.l. White chlorophylless mycotrophic plant. Tepals and flower
bracts pure white. Occasionally common.
