Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline gray limestone. Lithophytic herb up to 0.5 m tall on shady rocks along river. Fruits brightly blue. Locally abundant.
