Phu Yen Province, Dong Ha District, Deo Ca Pass. Dense sclerophyllous short wind formed forest and scrub on steep rocky sea-faced slopes among big granite boulders at elevation 100-150 m a.s.l. Erect or climbing shrub with shoots to 1.5 m long on granite cliff. Flowers white with purple tint, fruits bright red. Locally common.
