Secondary and primary fractionally logged evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep hill slopes composed by gray and yellow solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 200–250 m a.s.l. around point 16º59.5 N 106º38.2 E. Erect terrestrial herb to 3 m tall in steep shady rocky slope along stream. Peduncle and inflorescence bracts purple. Not rare.
