Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Bac Me Distr., Phieng Luong Municipality, around Phieng Luong village about 4 km to SW of Phieng Luong Municipality headquarter 22º39’29’’N, 105º19’35’’E. Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline and partially shale limestone at elev. 1000-1200 m a.s.l. Herbaceous vine 3-5 m long on open rocky outcrops. Flowers yellow. Very common.
