Da Nang City, Hoa Vang Distr., Hoa Ninh municipality, Ba Na – Nui Chua protected area, around point 15°59’52”N 107°59’04”E.Highly destroyed primary and secondary broadleaved evergreen forest on very steep mountain slopes with granite mother rocks at elev. 1200-1500 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial herb to 2 m tall in wet shady place along trail on steep slope near to top of ridge along trail. Flowers dirty violet. Occasional.
