Lam Dong Prov., Lac Duong Distr., Bidup mountain system, territory of Bidup-Nuiba National Park. Secondary open coniferous forest and woodlands with Pinus khasya on grassy hills composed by shale and granite near National Park headquarter at elevation about 1200 m a.s.l.
Erect terrestrial herb to 0.5 m tall in rather open places. Flowers bright rich yellow. Common.
