S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14ш39'N, 108ш25'E). Primary broad-leaved and mixed (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) evergreen dry mountain forest at elev. about 1100-1200 m on sandstone. Shrub about 1-1.5 m hg in open place. Flowers dull yellowish, calyx dull purple-brown. Rare.
