S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14є39'N, 108є25'E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved

wet forest on steep mt. slopes on sandstone & gneiss at elev. 1000-1200 m. Parasitic shrub with shoots up to 2 m hg in canopies of high trees. Flowers & axes of inflorescence brightly red, anthers white. Not rare.
