Paphiopedilum malipoense S.C.Chen et Z.H.Tsi

Dien Bien Prov., Tua Chua Distr., Sin Chai Municipality, around point 22°03′38”N 103°19′56”E. Primary humid evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slopes and on tops of remnant mountain composed with highly eroded marble-like solid crystalline limestone at elevation 1350-1500 m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic rosulate stoloniferous herb on steep rocky shady slope of N exposition. Flower buds light green. Leaves tessellated with light/dark green. Not common, but locally abundant.
