Anoectochilus annamensis Aver., sp.nov. Paratype.

Vietnam, Thua Thien ° Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., A Roang Municipality, Tra Lenh Forestry Department station, around point 16°04'41"N, 107°29'06"E. Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with shale, sandstone and granite at elevation 700-800 m a.s.l. Terrestrial creeping herb. Sepals light pink-brown, lip white. Leaves deep velvety green-brown with pink network of nerves. Rare. No HAL 7271 21 April 2005. Collectors: L.Averyanov, P.K.Loc, J.Regalado, T.V.Thao, N.T.Vinh.
