Plant was originally collected by Nguyen Van Canh in the year 2014 in northern Vietnam, Lai Chau province, with no exact locality. Since then it was cultivated in private garden of N.V. Canh in Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak province). Herbarium specimens were prepared from cultivated plant in 12 October 2016 by L.Averyanov, T.Maisak. Flowers white, with light pleasant fragrance.
