(with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) evergreen dry mountain forest at elev. about 1100-1200 m on sandstone. Tree about 8 m hg. Flowers

white, pleasant fragrant. Not common.

Degraded primary and secondary wet evergreen broad-leaved forest (with Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) along mountain river valley at elev. about 1100-1150 m on sandstone. Tree up to 25-30 cm hg along river. Not rare. Flowers white.

surrounded by cultivated fields,

from 1250-1375 m elevation.
